Aspect #17
ESSENCE BOOK #1
“Be curious, not judgmental.”
~ Walt Whitman
ESSENCE: Accept what is, as is, when it is, to experience tremendous inner peace.
Acceptance is the acknowledgment of a situation or condition without attempting to either change it or deny it. In human psychology, acceptance is a person's recognition and assent to the finality of a situation without attempting to change or protest it. In spirituality, acceptance is embracing what is, as it is, when it is.
Furthermore, acceptance is recognizing that we each have our own unique life and that fully respecting this uniqueness in each other’s lives is a key to living a life of acceptance. By living with acceptance, we are living without resistance, allowing Divine will to reveal itself in our present-time life experiences.
In general, anyone or anything that judges, separates, or controls describes the old paradigm. Being judgmental fuels racial discrimination, gender disparities, religious differences, and separatism. Transcending our behavior from being judgmental to becoming nonjudgmental begins with acceptance.
Acceptance that, according to neuroscience, we are 99.99% the same, as our human differences represent one-100th of 1%. Acceptance that we are connected with Nature, including the birds, mountains, oceans, and streams. Acceptance that we are an aspect of the Universe and therefore an aspect of the infinite. Acceptance of our differences. Acceptance of our similarities. When we accept, there is no longer any resistance to life. Living life without resistance yields tremendous freedom and inner peace.
Sleeping Souls tend to be judgmental, viewing the world through a lens of separation and control, thus living with low awareness and a narrow perspective. They tend to spend their time convincing others why they are right, while judging people and circumstances through their finite conscious minds. Sleeping Souls tend to fear others who look differently, speak differently, and dress differently. Their judgment causes them to miss out on opportunities to connect with others on a deeper and more meaningful level. Some begin to seek.
Seekers tend to learn to accept themselves as they transcend out of their internal dramas. They no longer judge the sleepers because they realize that they were once them. They generally accept a new level of character and self-sufficiency, no longer needing the external validation of others. Seekers generally learn to handle life with ease, assuming full responsibility for their emotions, habits, and actions.
Awakened accept what is, as is, when it is, and do so with love and compassion. They tend to view diversity as a strength, and equality as simply a way of life. They can be excellent observers of situations and people. They observe to learn, contemplate, and be more aware and accepting. They realize that the energy associated with judging carries a low vibration, whereas acceptance carries a high one. Awakened live at a high vibrational frequency, attracting what they truly desire. They tend to know that in order to access the Divine flow of life, they must do so from a state of wholeness....
I accept what is, as it is, when it is.
Do you accept yourself as you are?
Are you fixated on what others think of you?
Right now, do you accept your life as it is?
