ESSENCE: A conscious and regenerative life is built on a foundation of an honest heart.

Honest Heart reflects a quality of being genuine, forthright, transparent, collaborative, loving, and uncorrupted. An honest heart illuminates purity, lightness, and truthfulness. Honest hearts connect and unite, aligning our speech, behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and actions. Together, we stand strong!

Honesty through our speech is speaking our truth with sincerity, not lying or deceiving. Honesty through our behaviors is being upright and fair in our dealings with others, neither cheating nor stealing, not deceiving others by the way we act, such as making things appear to be one way when they are, in fact, different. Honesty through our thoughts is refusing to deceive ourselves. Honesty through our emotions is expressing how we truly feel. Honesty through our actions is carrying ourselves with integrity.

Honesty begins with being honest with ourselves. Do we honor honesty? Do we live our lives with absolute truthfulness? Do we take responsibility for our actions? Do we apologize to others when we hurt them? Do we forgive others who hurt us? Do we forgive ourselves? Do we realize that partial truths are lies? Are we living our truths, or are we living our lies? Living with honesty enables us to sleep well, as we aren’t hiding anything. We experience greater joy and peace.

Sleeping Souls tend to live in the old paradigm, which teaches them that cheating is OK, so long as you win; and white lies are acceptable, justifying their deceit by not wanting to hurt the other person. Some believe that they are living honest lives because they are not out stealing cars and robbing banks, even though they may steal supplies from work, fudge on the time clock, and/or cheat on their income taxes. Many Sleeping Souls are hypocrites, pretending to possess certain virtues, morals, beliefs, and success, when in reality they do not. Some Sleeping Souls are tired of living a life of lies. Some begin to seek.

Seekers tend to be truthful; however, they also learn that honesty is not about “letting it all hang out,” justifying their candor by claiming that they’re just being totally honest. Rather, they learn that honesty in speech must be both truthful and controlled. In other words, they speak their truth in love, and they desire to support others’ gifts. Seekers tend to learn not to attempt to change others. Rather, they may simply offer the wisdom which has worked well for them. They realize they need to be honest with themselves in order to be honest with others.

Awakened remain true to themselves. They tend to make a commitment to live with honesty and integrity. They tend to no longer placate others by telling them what they want to hear. They utilize honesty as a form of protection because in their hearts they know the truth, so attempting to convince others is unnecessary. By living their lives with honesty, they tend to gain a stronger sense of inner peace. And through living with honesty, Awakened are able to fully embody their authentic selves....
